how do i find the value of old coins?
Your best bet is to get A Coins or Coinage magazine they have a price guide for most U.S. coins. That will give you an idea of value ans then see a couple of coin dealers. Most sites are selling coins and coins is a must see type item usually to come up with a true value. If you have world coins make sure you see a world coin dealer not a U.S. coin dealer for they know little or nothing about rare world coins.
