How to reverse the effect of soaking silver coins in lemon juice?
As a child, I soaked pennies in lemon juice to clean them but didn’t consider I may need a different solution to clean silver coins. Long story short, I soaked all my father’s coins he had collected from foreign countries and was appalled when they came out with a rainbow, aerodescent discoloration. Is there any way to reverse my mistake from many years ago?
You cannot.
Never use cleaners for jewelery or silver/copper/brass.
