I will give the best answer to the person that gives the more detailed description of the winners of each fight and why and not necessarily to the one that I agree with.

Interesting question my friend! :-)

Fight 1: Tony Zale is the stronger of the two, but Gibbons have the advantage in chin .Zale is a very strong puncher, he proved it against a very tough Rocky Graziano. This is a great fight and I pick Zale to win by UD.

Fight 2: Carlos Monzon is a great pressure fighter. He can brawl but he is also an underrated tactician. Carlos Monzon has a very strong chin, and has great knock out power. Tiger Flowers is also a great fighter but Monzon’s aggression will win him a knock out in the 11th round.

Fight 3: Tough fight. Hagler has one of the best chins in history. Carmen Basilio is one of the most underrated boxers ever. I pick Hagler by UD, I think he will be the aggressor and Carmen Basilio will be in the defensive mode.

Fight 4: Charley Burley is the stronger puncher, but Mickey Walker is no walk in a park. I think Burley’s aggression puts Walker in the ropes and Bruley lands some ahrd shots at Walker. By the 11th Round it will be de jabu and the ref stops the fight. Burley wins.

Fight 5: Harry Greb has great durability. Greb throws non stop punches, He is the modern day Paul Williams. At 298 fights in his resume, you barely see Greb struggling with his conditioning. Emile Griffith is heavily underrated and almost unknown to regular fans. But Griffith has tremendous skills. I still see Greb winning by decision.

Fight 6: Excellent fight. Jake La Motta vs Stanley Ketchel would be great. Ketchel has great power punching. La Motta is a highly skillful tactician. He makes up his lack of power punching through great strategic footwork. He has great angles and great timing. But Ketchel is just too strong. I see Ketchel knocking out Jake La Motta in the late rounds.

Fight 7: I can see this as a tough fight. Marcel Cerdan, the Algerian born Frenchman is a tough boxer. He has great offensive prowess and an underrated defense. Sugar Ray Robinson is know to be the greatest boxer ever. Marcel Cerdan is a natural Middleweight so he will be comfortable while Sugar Ray Robinson is the naturally smaller man. I still give the edge to Sugar Ray Robinson to win by a Split Decision.

Fight 8. Laszlo Papp was a great Hungarian boxer. But in truth, he is more known for his amateur career rather than his professional career. Gene Fullmer has been in bigger fights. He has much better experience which I think will help him beat Laszlo Papp by KO in the late rounds.

Round 2

Carlos Monzon KO Tony Zale in Round 6. Carlos Monzon is just too strong and too aggressive. His cross counters and upper cuts will cut Zale and make him bleed profusely and the ref stops the bout.

Marvin Hagler beats Charley Burley by SD. Both fighters will make it a war and will hurt each other. But Hagler’s slight edge in precision wins him the controversial SD.

Harry Greb SD Stanley Ketchel. Tough and a very close one. Could go either way. Greb’s advantage is his aggression while Ketchel relies too much on punching power and not truly landing enough jabs and counter shots.

Sugar Ray Robinson SD Gene Fullmer. The popular fighter gets the judges nod, as consistent in boxing.

Final Fights:

Carlos Monzon UD Marvin Hagler. This is a great fight but styles makes fights. Monzon has great hooks, Hagler as great upper cuts. Both have decent jabs. Monzon is a pressure fighter who has great overhand counters and has great check hooks. Hagler has a decent defense at semi crouch with mixed guard stance. But with Hagler’s consistent attacks, I think he wins on points.

Gene Fullmer UD Sugar Ray Robinson. Robinson and Fullmer have fought before, and Fullmer’s belligerence and moving style forward approach has bothered Robinson. Robinson has often struggled with Fullmer and for some reason when they fight Fullmer is actually the heavy favorite. It is for the very reason that Fullmer fighting at Middleweight is better suited for him than Robinson who had more success at welterweight. I think Fullmer wins the match again. I dont think he can knockdown Robinson (funny he did in real life) but he will win on points.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Carlos Monzon vs Gene Fullmer

Carlos Monzon by UD. Gene Fullmer has great offensive and defensive prowess. Fullmer pressures his opponents in a upright stance with relentess jabs, hooks, and upper cuts. Monzon however, clinches when his attacker is too aggressive and he counters with a cross counter jabs, upper cuts, or shots to the body and combinations on the chin. Monzon’s pulling away strategy will make it difficult for Fullmer to attack, and in the end Monzon wins by an impressive UD and wins the Middleweight Tournament.
